Meet Dra. Dulce Aguilar
Dr. Dulce Aguilar, founder of Reconnecting Chiropractic Center, is a dedicated family and pediatric chiropractor serving the San Diego community. Originally from a small town in Mexico, she moved to Los Angeles at age 20 to pursue her education, earning a B.S. in Kinesiology from California State University, Los Angeles, followed by her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences.
Dr. Aguilar is passionate about holistic, neurologically focused chiropractic care. She has advanced training in pediatric and prenatal care and is certified in the ICPA Webster Technique, providing safe, gentle support for infants, children, and pregnant mothers.
Before opening her practice, she worked at the Center for Health & Human Potential, where she gained extensive experience caring for children with autism, ADHD, OCD, sensory processing challenges, and other neurodevelopmental needs. This shaped her commitment to creating a calm, sensory-aware, and family-centered environment.
Today, Dr. Aguilar continues to serve with compassion, blending clinical expertise, heart-centered care, and a bilingual (English–Spanish) approach to support families from infancy through adulthood.
I believe chiropractic care goes beyond relieving pain. It’s about reconnecting the body, regulating the nervous system, and supporting each person’s ability to heal and thrive.

She also provides supportive care for neurodivergent children—including autism, ADHD, and sensory processing differences—creating a calm and sensory-aware environment.
